Give thanks, with a grateful heart...

At the end of November, at school, we celebrated Thanksgiving! It was a little weird to explain, what I consider to be a pretty uniquely American celebration, to kids who have little context for it. Oh well, bring on the turkey!

Some moms came and set up Thanksgiving food centers in the room. We had a whipped cream station, which everyone loved.


The orange/cranberry station, which few kids loved.

And...the popcorn center??!!


After Centers, we moved to the cafeteria for a feast together. The kids mainly ate the popcorn. :) I was glad to have turkey not once...




...but twice this year! My friend Stephanie's parents were in town and they had us over for a Thanksgiving feast!
