I'll start with a fun one. :) We live in a violent, dangerous city. As a result, our lives are very different from when we all lived in other places. We don't go out very often and if we do, we're very cautious. As a result, we end up with a lot of house parties. Parties to celebrate any event. A birthday, a graduation, a Thursday. And we like themes and decorations. So this blog is dedicated to CAG Life and the many parties we've had over the past year. Enjoy the fun.
When we first got back in January, we celebrated a quad-birthday party. Maggie, Jaime, Aaron and I all had birthdays close to each other so we threw a combined party. Our theme was Decades and people could dress in whichever decade they chose. Maggie and I were lucky enough to shop together, in Chicago, over Christmas break for our rocking vintage dresses.
The cave people were some of my favorite costumes.
Some hippies...
And some other randoms.
In March, we celebrated Cinco de Mike-o (Mike's 33rd birthday) with beer pong...
...mariachi...
...a roasted pig...
...and a pinata.
In April we went to this awesome Eucalipto Music Festival.
And Miten and Maggie hosted a delicious Indian Dinner party.
So these are some of the fun times we've had this 2011!
